Advanced Dhamma

Advanced Dhamma - THE LAST STOP BEFORE THE ACTUAL PRACTICE

Now we have come to the most difficult part of the Buddha Dhamma in terms of concepts, namely, the Five Aggregates, the teaching of Non-Self, Dependant Origination, and Advanced Rebirth Explanation.

These are the most sophisticated subjects in the Buddha Dhamma. If you have read these topics before in a book or somewhere else, we suggest you to read it again here because our texts are from a very experienced and accomplished Theravada Master - Mahasi Sayadaw. We are sure that you will have a deeper insight into the Buddha Dhamma after you mindfully read Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw's books.

Again, learning and practicing Buddhism take discipline and patience. We recommend you to go through the sections one by one, and don't jump to the next section before you finish reading one section. This is very important because you have to understand one section in order to understand the next. If you jump to the next section without understanding the previous, you will most likely not understand the next.

However, if you feel that you are done with the philosophical aspect of the Dhamma, you may proceed directly to the Practice section, but we suggest you to read our Words of Advice before you go.

If you feel stressed and unable to accept certain doctrines, don't force yourself. As time goes by, you will be able to appreciate the Buddha Dhamma more and more.

May all beings gain insight and be freed from sufferings!

Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
